Johanna Taylor is a professional dancer/singer/actor based in NYC. She graduated magna cum laude from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance.

She has also had the pleasure of working on regional theatre productions directed and choreographed by Emmy Award Winner, Al Blackstone and legendary Fosse veteran, Lloyd Culbreath.

Johanna finds a lot of inspiration through her love of improvisation and frequently shares improv dance and impromptu singing videos on her Instagram page: @johannaktaylor. Johanna strives to create with honesty and heart, and she hopes to share that with you in her work. She just completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training certification and is looking forward to sharing some yoga offerings soon.

Born and raised on Long Island, Johanna grew up dancing at North Shore Studio of Dance, under the direction of Danielle Kimmins, a former Radio City Rockette. Johanna studied singing from a young age with her mother, Karen Isaksen-Taylor, who is a voice teacher and musician. Johanna is also a graduate of the Long Island High School for the Arts.
